It would be a miracle - Fabio Grosso's Agent
Fabio Grosso's agent believes it will take a "miracle" for the defender to join Juventus before the European transfer window closes on Monday night.
Grosso has been linked with a move to the Turin giants over the summer, but with Juve failing to step up their bid to sign the Lyon left-back, the 31-year-old is likely to stay put.
"Juve have made an offer which Lyon considered to be low," said Grosso's agent, Giuseppe Bozzo.
"Grosso has stated his intention to return to Italy but it depends on Lyon.
"I am not optimistic because you are not talking about an ordinary player. We are talking about a world champion that Lyon would only transfer if an important offer arrived.
"I believe Juve have made a reasonable offer. There is still time but a miracle is needed seeing as the transfer market ends today."
Grosso joined Lyon from Inter Milan in the summer of 2007, and is under contract with the French side for a further two seasons.
