David Trezeguet planning to move on
Striker David Trezeguet has announced this will be his last season with Juventus.
The 32-year-old Frenchman joined the Bianconeri from Monaco in 2000, and found himself at the centre of a great deal of transfer speculation over the summer with AC Milan reportedly leading the chase.
Trezeguet eventually decided to stay with Juve, but has now confirmed he will not extend that beyond the end of the current campaign, despite having a contract until 2012.
"I've spoken with my family and we have reached this decision after 10 years in Turin," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"Whether it will be a return to France or Argentina I don't know, but in June I will leave Turin."
Trezeguet is determined his final year with Juve will be a successful one, and is desperate to get his hands on the Serie A trophy again.
"This is a very important year for me, and I want to end it with a win," he added.
"My story is almost done here and I think now is the right time to leave. My contract won't be a problem, (coach) Ciro Ferrera is already aware of my decision.
"Nobody has asked me to leave, this is something I've thought about for some time and I want to bow out with a title."
