Injury for Roma skipper
Roma captain Francesco Totti is relieved his knee injury is less serious than first thought.
Totti hurt his right knee during Sunday's 2-1 win over Napoli.
The 33-year-old, who underwent surgery on that same knee last year, admitted he feared the worst.
"I was really scared but I am happy that it is nothing serious," said Totti, who proved the hero for the Giallorossi scoring twice against Napoli.
"I did not want to be forced to stop now. I want to continue to score and help my team win."
Tests done on Totti revealed the former Italy international had strained a ligament but he should be back on the pitch in 10 to 15 days.
"I will focus during the international break on recovering and I hope to be back to face AC Milan," said Totti.
Roma, who are eighth in the standings, travel to the San Siro to face struggling AC Milan on October 18.
Giallorosso coach Claudio Ranieri will be keen to have a fully-fit Totti, who has scored six times in the league this season.
