Huntelaar brace wins Milan

Klaas Jan Huntelaar hopes his match-winning brace at Catania will kickstart his AC Milan career.
The 26-year-old summer signing, who had failed to notch a goal before Sunday, was introduced six minutes from the end and struck twice in stoppage time to earn his side a 2-0 win which moved them above Juventus into second spot in Serie A.
Huntelaar could not hide his delight to have ended his goalscoring drought and is now keen to push on.
"I have worked so hard to show my game and I hope I can continue to improve," he said.
"I hope I can continue like this.
"These two goals for me are a starting point.
"Now I feel like a Milan player.
"The only thing I was missing was goals but now I don't want to stop."
Having paid 15million euros to Real Madrid this summer for the player, Milan had high expectations of the former Ajax man.
Huntelaar's poor start had led to speculation that he may leave during the winter transfer window.
But he insisted: "I never considered leaving the club in January."
No-one celebrated the Dutchman's late heroics more than Milan coach Leonardo.
He said: "Huntelaar has scored two beautiful goals.
"He went into the game on the back of a great week and I am really happy for him.
"I wanted to make the substitutions, having asked my players if they wanted to try to go out and win this game instead of settling for a draw.
"Then Klaas went in and he decided the match."
The outcome left Milan seven points behind league leaders Inter and one point clear of third-placed Juventus.
Milan host Sampdoria on Saturday while Inter travel to Turin to meet Juve.
