Chelsea win EPL Title in style
"It's been a hard three years, not winning the Premier League, but we've done it today and we deserved it.
"It's been inside of me for three years, seeing Man United lift it season after season and every single one of us has sat there and watched it. And now it's their turn to sit there and watch us today."
Boss Carlo Ancelotti told Sky Sports 1: "It's fantastic, we did our best and I did my best for this club. There's a fantastic atmosphere at this club, with these supporters, and I think we deserved to win the championship after this season. We are very happy.
"There are a lot of things we're happy about. We're happy for this record, for Didier being the top scorer, but the most important thing is that we showed some good play."
Full-back Cole, who controversially left Arsenal to join the Blues in 2006, said: "It's been a long time since I won a league, it's my first title at Chelsea and I'm very happy.
"Hopefully now everybody will get off my back and realise why I came here."
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said: "It was always going to be hard for Wigan to get something.
"When we heard they were down to 10 men all our hopes evaporated. I am not going to agonise about where it went wrong.
"You could talk about a lot of things and the decision at Stamford Bridge was a bad one that turned the whole thing round.
"But you can't agonise over these things. Sometimes you get the breaks, on other occasions you don't.
"The European Cup was the biggest disappointment. We should be in the final.
"But we applaud Chelsea winning the title and I applaud Carlo Ancelotti. We know how hard it is to win the league."
He added: "We can be proud. We have challenged very strongly for a fourth title in a row and we have taken it to the wire.
"But next season we will go again and hopefully we will bring back the title to the best place in the world."
