RKC Waalwijk worst start to the season
RKC Waalwijk slumped to their fifth straight defeat at home to ADO Den Haag as their nightmare start to the Eredivisie season continued.
Bogdan Milic and Wesley Verhoek scored either side of half-time to earn ADO their second away victory of the campaign.
RKC started brightly, and Kevin Vink tested Barry Ditewig in the ADO goal with a powerful shot in the 12th minute.
Guijs Luirink then sent in a cross from the left which Hans Mulder ran on to and converted - only to see his effort ruled out for offside.
Instead, it was ADO who went ahead in the 37th minute.
Milic ran on to Ahmedi Ammi's pass from the right and scored right-footed from 13 yards.
Lex Immers then brought a fine parry out of Jurgen Wevers when he burst clear to find himself one-on-one with the RKC goalkeeper - before Ditewig again denied Vink, keeping out his curling free-kick.
ADO doubled their advantage seven minutes after the break as Verhoek converted Anthony Obodai's right-wing cross.
From then on, it was merely a question of how many the visitors would rack up.
Wevers caught Karim Soltani's effort from Christian Kum's ball in and then faced up again to Immers in another one-on-one situation, but this time the midfielder put his shot wide.
ADO substitute Charlton Vicento shot wide with his side's final chance of the game in the 90th minute.
