Roma fans launch protests
Roma fans have vented their anger towards club president Rosella Sensi following the team's poor start to the campaign.
Five hundred Giallorossi fans protested outside Roma's headquarters in Trigoria on Saturday after a week of turmoil at the Serie A outfit.
Luciano Spalletti resigned after five years in charge on Wednesday following Roma's 3-1 defeat at home to Juventus four days earlier.
The loss marked their second consecutive setback after their 3-2 defeat at Genoa in their league opener.
The Giallorossi hired Rome-born coach Claudio Ranieri as Spalletti's replacement.
Roma supporters were calling for Sensi to sell the club and demanded the departure of sporting director Daniele Prade.
Spalletti and Roma fans were disappointed with the team making no big-name signings in the summer.
Defenders Nicolas Burdisso from Inter Milan and Marco Motta from Udinese were the team's most significant acquisitions.
